Artist Biography
Elvira Rakhmanova is a Zürich-based Russian-French pianist and piano teacher, which has been recognized for her outstanding artistry, sensibility, and versatility.
She was born in 1995 in Russia, where she grew up and became passionate about music after starting to learn the piano at the age of 6. Since then, music has took a central role in her life. During her studies at the Altai College of Music she won various prizes at national and international competitions.
Desiring to go further in her education, in 2014 she continued her studies at the N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory under the direction of professor Oleg Yuryevich Malov (Doctorate candidate in art history).
Elvira graduated with a master degree in 2019, and in 2020 she opened a new chapter in her life by moving to Europe, and pursuing further education by entering the "Post Graduate Performance Course”, course in Pedagogy and Methodology in the Luxembourg conservatory, which she has successfully finished in 2022 with distinction. She also continued her education as a concert pianist and took lessons from Nicolas Marzinotto, professor at the Luxembourg Conservatory.

Elvira has participated in various master classes, including with Vadym Kholodenko, Niklas Sivelöv, Stephane Ginsburgh, Walter Roccaro, Dina Shevchuk and Peep Lassmann, among others.
Elvira performs as a soloist, as an accompanist and as part of chamber music ensembles in Switzerland, Luxembourg and Russia.
